چکیده

In this paper, a filtered-x recursive least squares (FX-RLS) algorithm based on adaptive 3rd-order Volterra filtering is proposed for nonlinear active noise control (ANC) of systems with a nonlinear primary acoustic path. The simulation results show that the proposed approach yields faster convergence, compared with the conventional methods (e.g., FX-NLMS and FX-GSPAP), for the nonlinear ANC. Key-Words: Nonlinear ANC, Volterra filtering, FX-LMS, FX-RLS, FX-GSPAP.

Novel Algorithms Based on Legendre Neural Network for Nonlinear Active Noise Control with Nonlinear Secondary Path

In this paper, we propose a computationally efficient Legendre Neural Network (LNN) for nonlinear Active Noise Cancellation (NANC). Update algorithms for NANC with linear secondary path (LSP) based on Filtered-x Least Mean Square (FXLMS), Filtered-e Least Mean Square(FELMS) and Recursive Least Square(RLS) are developed. Update algorithm for NANC with nonlinear secondary path(NSP) is also develo...

A Robust Feedforward Active Noise Control System with a Variable Step-Size FxLMS Algorithm: Designing a New Online Secondary Path Modelling Method

Several approaches have been introduced in literature for active noise control (ANC)systems. Since Filtered-x-Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm appears to be the best choice as acontroller filter. Researchers tend to improve performance of ANC systems by enhancing andmodifying this algorithm. This paper proposes a new version of FxLMS algorithm. In many ANCapplications an online secondary pat...

New filtered-x recursive least square algorithm for active noise control

A new multichannel filtered-x recursive least square algorithm for active noise control systems is proposed. It is shown that the use of the filtered-x structure, instead of the commonly used modified filtered-x structure lead to a more efficient implementation and similar convergence performance and stability. The paper is also focused on examining the benefits of auxiliary normal equations so...

Leading Element Dichotomous Coordinate Descent Exponential Recursive Least Squares Algorithm for Multichannel Active Noise Control

In this paper, a new multichannel modified filtered-x (MFX) recursive least square (RLS) algorithm for active noise control (ANC) based on leading element dichotomous co-ordinate descent (LEDCD) iterations is proposed. It is shown that the proposed algorithm has less than half of the complexity of MFX fast transversal filter (FTF) algorithm with good performance for ideal plant models and impro...

A fast-array Kalman filter solution to active noise control

A Kalman filter solution to active control and its fast-array implementation are provided. The adaptive control problem is formulated as a state-estimation problem and no interchanging of the adaptive filter and the secondary-path is imposed. Moreover, no estimate of the disturbance signal is needed, and we exploit the structure in the state–space matrices to derive a fast-array implementation....
